we see you have cancelled our appearance to your venue on Sunday 9th October 2011, we are just trying to find out if this is correct because we have now changed agency management from Angle Entertainments now to
OCEAN LEISURE ENTERTAINMENTS, BARNSLEY on 01226 725206.
can you please confirm if this is correct by either telephoning above or please to the email address above

much appreciated, take care and have a good year from

Hello. Very interesting site and you lead a very interesting discussion. There is a nice atmosphere here and I'm sure I will often read your posts.
From time to time I will also try to write something interesting.

In Sept 1930 your club sent a floral tribute to the funeral of my Great Grandfather - Richard Pickles. He was described as a 'free member' of your club and lived at No 3 Cuerdale Street with his family. He was employed at Harle Syke mill until 1928. If any of your old time members know of any of his relatives still in the area, I would be most interested to hear from them (possible surnames of Holt, Whittaker, Anderton).
Wishing your club and members a healthy and properous future.
